Born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, on May 13, 1981, as Karenjit Kaur Vohra, Sunny Leone is a Canadian-American model and actress of Indian heritage. Being crowned Penthouse Pet of the Year in 2003 and listed as one of the top 12 porn actresses by Maxim in 2010, she first rose to recognition as an actor in adult films. She became a member of the AVN Hall of Fame in 2018.
Leone's entry on the Indian reality TV program "Bigg Boss" in 2011 marked her transition to mainstream entertainment and prepared her for her Bollywood debut in the 2012 movie "Jism 2". She has since made appearances in a number of Indian films, such as "Tera Intezaar" (2017), "Ek Paheli Leela" (2015), and "Ragini MMS 2" (2014).
In addition to her work in movies, Leone has dabbled in business. Her first eatery, Chica Loca, opened its doors in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, in January 2024. She and her husband, Daniel Weber, celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary in November of that year by renewing their vows in a ceremony held in the Maldives.
